Ike Thunderhawk Moses, a descendent of the Creek and Choctaw Tribes, grew up in a traditional Native American family. The culture, the traditions, the customs and medicine were taught to Ike from early on. While traveling the Pow Wow circuit and teaching in schools about the Native American culture Ike’s knowledge and understanding of his own abilities grew. Receiving his spirit name Thunderhawk from a Shaman at the age of 19, he continued to hone his spirit to be a more effective Empath, energy healer, meditation guide, spirit warrior, Native goods craftsman and flutist.
The flute has evolved into a powerful instrument of healing for Thunderhawk. Originally meant to be a simple gift to his mother, Thunderhawk was encouraged to produce “First Flight” for market. After many responses from listeners saying that they fell asleep to it, Ike gave “First Flight” to some veteran friends who suffered from PTSD causing restless sleep. The results were phenomenal and the true power of “First Flight” and Thunderhawk’s mission had been discovered. Since then Thunderhawk and his team have been dedicated to veterans with PTSD and anyone suffering with sleep issues.
